Color

The property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light.

Synonyms: hue, shade, tint, tone.

Years ago, it was said how changing color in light was so cheap and easy, as all it involved was changing a gel. Today, with the remarkable advances of LED technology, colors can often be changed with just the push of a button. Regardless of the technology, manipulating color remains one of the most extreme — or subtle — ways of changing the flavor of an environment.
