Movement

An act of changing physical location or position or of having this changed, both in time and space.

Synonyms: motion, gesture, signal, action, activity.

For lighting, movement can mean computerized moving lights filling a dance floor with life, a followspot tracking a performer across a stage, or the subtle shifts of color and intensity reflecting the setting sun.
